Home    The Color Factory – Go now!

We can’t think of a cooler, more colorful way to …end our Summer vacation OR have that date we have been putting off OR meet that girlfriend for something other than the usual, than to take a little trip up to Sutter Street and visit the whimsical Color Factory!

Open now from August 1 to August 31, this Pop-Up, interactive experience is located at 575 Sutter Street, just two blocks away from Union Square. It celebrates color (of course!) in some very innovative and interactive ways (think a giant ball pit, Jacob Dahlgren’s 10, 000 colored ribbons to work your way through, and a confetti room where patrons can experience what it’s like to be inside a rainbow snow globe, what?!?) and features other works and collaborations by such talented artists as Tom Stayte, Geronimo Balloons, Tosha Stimage, Stanton Jones, Andrew Neyer & Andy J. Miller, Carissa Potter, Jessica Hische, Rebecca Wright, Randi Brookman Harris, Leah Rosenberg and Erin Jang.

The building is hard to miss – decked out in colorful stripes – and tickets (must be purchased online prior to arrival, as they are NOT sold at the door) are $32 (children under 2 are free).

And LAST BUT NOT LEAST, some of the best of SF food is available to snack on serving “technicolor food” from Chantal Guillon, Craftsman and Wolves, and Doughbies…yummy!

Go before it’s over and we will see you there!
