Burlingame

Tree lighting ceremony, 5:00pm at City Hall. Parade on Burlingame Avenue after the tree lighting. Live entertainment on Primrose Road after the the parade. Kiddie rides in the 1100 block of Burlingame Avenue.

 

Los Altos

Holiday Tree Lighting
Friday, December 2, 2016, 6:00 to 8:00 pm
Community Plaza
Featuring Bullis Charter School Sonore Choir, Mountain View High School Madrigals, free train rides and holiday refreshments.

 

Menlo Park

Holiday Tree Lighting  
Friday, December 2, 20165:30 to 7:00 pm
Visit Fremont Park for the Holiday Tree Lighting presented by the City of Menlo Park and the Menlo Park Chamber of Commerce. This holiday favorite event brings the Menlo Park community together to ring in the holiday season. Come enjoy live entertainment, free hot coca, and the lighting of the holiday tree. If you have been good boys and girls, Santa just might make a special appearance.

6th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at Lytton Plaza (corner of University & Emerson) includes live entertainment, face painting and snacks.

 

Portola Valley

The Woodside Priory School Performing Arts Center will host 47 local artists, craftspeople and non-profit groups for the annual Portola Valley Holiday Fair.

Fine art, fused glass, seasoning blends, metal homewares, wood turning, jewelry, ceramics, holiday ornaments, hand-knits, clothing, textiles, hand-made soaps, stoneware, skincare, hair braiding, cards, photography, prints, leather goods, scarves, hats, air plants, succulents, honey, granola, and sugar cubes, will all be available plus much more.

Portola Valley’s Cultural Arts Committee sponsors this event, and a percentage of the profits made by stallholders benefit local non-profits such as Portola Valley Open Space, the Peninsula Bridge Program (via the Woodside Priory) and the Portola Valley School District.

Winter Wonderland

Filoli Holiday Traditions

Holiday Traditions – Over the past century, the holidays have been special times at Filoli. Family traditions were created and celebrated. And in 2016, that unique spirit continues, as they “Celebrate! 100 Years of Holidays.” You can shop the day or evening holiday boutiques, enjoy a buffet lunch, savor a bistro dinner in the Café, or attend the Children’s Lunch on Saturday, December 3. Every day will be enhanced by musical entertainment to lift your holiday spirit and add to your festive experience.
